it's not hard to fallI'm trying not to be predictable So this probably won't be what you have grown used to me telling you.
Because I'm refusing to write to you about how I love the shape of your spine or how I love the curve of your fingers around your pencil or that sometimes I want nothing more than to kiss your shoulder blades where your wings must have once been in some other life.
I don't want to tell you that when I listen to your voice through the noise of the phone, I can feel the earth cracking under my bare feet, fault lines where I never thought there were any and I don't want to tell you that every time you it's not hard to fall

when you feel the blood boil in your veins.  hot like molten lava and twice as corrosive.  the feeling of a million fingered hand, wrapping tendrils around your throat squeezing, squeezing, squeezing the tense of your shoulders, like knives pressed into your spine grinding at bone
and sinew alike, peeling you apart one
vertebrate at a time, tossing them at your feet with a crash, crash, crash

my pretty words...I feel weightless, infinite. I'm scared to open up the window for fear that I'll evaporate into the night sky, stretching myself out to embrace the stars. It's a beautiful night out there to go with the beautiful day: the cerulean sky, peppered with a cloud or two and the lovely poetry of red and gold leaves spiraling down from the trees.
There is a certain beauty about autumn, even though everything is dying. It's the sort of beautiful that you can't find in magazines or in plastic people and shallow smiles. It's the sort of beauty that is omnipresent, like the touch of carbon in oxyge my pretty words...

This month, I wrote a novel.

Mood: Euphoric

_{This month, for the second year in a row, I participated and won NaNoWriMo. Some people might think that’s a silly thing to do. I gave up my average of 91% in the tenth grade which is the hardest year of education yet, to write fifty thousand words (50,000 for you visual people) that probably will never end up published.
But it made me happy. God, did it ever make me happy.
I feel like I’m glowing with joy at having accomplished something I set out to do.

During the last week of November, I banned myself from most of the internet, especially deviantART. dA is just far too distracting for a novelist. So you can imagine my shock to find myself featured in a news article alongside a crazy number of amazingly talented artists. I am humbled. Thanks soso much to =Iwien for the feature.

Thanks as well to =ToaAkatsuki for featuring me in her journal alongside some couple of dozen or so amazing pieces of literature that I shall go check out within the hour. Again I am humbled because I really admire her both as a writer and as a person.

Back to NaNoWriMo because I am still giddy, I want to thank
~sonia1234321 from the very bottom of my heart. Her words and wit inspired me through the sprint to 50k.

As well, I’m going to thank the one I always thank for being herself and for being unknowing inspiration every time she smiles.

Now, I’m off to clean up my messages, catch up on a month of schoolwork, sleep and maybe when all that’s done, get onto editing my (ohmygodicantbelieveit) novel.}
